XMAS AT THE IES TIERRA DE CIUDAD RODRIGO

The students and teachers at the IES TIERRA DE CIUDAD RODRIGO have been working hard for the last two weeks to prepare our highschool for Christmas.

The "Art Department", with the help of the "Wood and Furniture Department" and our resourseful Maite, have put up a special Christmas tree made from old newspapers in our hall. There is also a powerpoint presentation which is  meant for us to reflect about Christmas and reality, without being confused by the flashy lights of Christmas.

Besides, there is a "Multilingual Wall" in the hall with stars wishing you a "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" in a lot of languages, made by the students in "MAE".

The "English Department" and the "Department of Extracurricular Activities" have hanged up bilingual stars with Christmas wishes written by our students from the first and the second cycles of ESO. Besides, in some of our classrooms of ESO, there is an "English Corner" with some of those bilingual stars.

The "Art Department" has also made snowmen with students from 4th year of ESO, 3rd year of ESO and Bachillerato using plastic glasses, staples and newspapers. Aren't they cute?

And Ana Rodríguez Melgosa has made this beautiful Xmas composition:

We hope you like it ;-)...

MERRY XMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
