Save The Children

On 9^th April 2014, we celebrated a charity race for “Save The Children” to raise money for Congo. Most of the students and teachers at IES Tierra de Ciudad Rodrigo participated walking or running to the river, or organizing the race.

First, the students and teachers found sponsors for the race.

Second, they participated in the race after showing their cards to the volunteers in the gym and getting their race numbers.

Then, they walked or ran to the river and back to our high school.

Finally, the students and teachers showed their cards to the volunteers again to demonstrate that they had done the race.

We loved this activity! We had a good time and, what's even more important, we got a lot of money for Congo.

We hope we will repeat this charity race next year ;-)!
