La violencia de género es cualquier tipo de maltrato hacia la mujer. Puede ser física o psicológica. Probablemente no te das cuenta de que está ahí hasta que ya estás dentro, casi sin salida. Y es que, a veces, nada es lo que parece y todo cambia de un día a otro. De golpe, los “te quiero” se convierten en “no te soporto”, las sonrisas en lágrimas, los besos en golpes y empujones, las risas en gritos y amenazas, ...  Cambian las largas conversaciones por discusiones infinitas. Poco a poco tus amigos y familia quedan apartados por un muro de hormigón, por una barrera que no puedes atravesar. Me ha parecido que estaba muy bien pensado y organizado para recrear todas las salas, llamadas de emergencias, armas, muertes, etc. Me lo he pasado genial y me he podido echar unas risas junto a toda la clase. Elia Cordero (1º bach).     SEGUNDO COMENTARIO: Me ha gustado mucho jugar al Among Us en la vida real y también juntándolo con educación física porque sin darnos cuenta hemos hecho algunos ejercicios que nos costaban, pero los días que los hemos realizado jugando no nos resultó tan difícil porque ese era nuestro objetivo; hacer las pruebas bien y que no nos matasen ni nos pillasen si éramos impostores. Anónimo.   CUARTO COMENTARIO: Este año hemos celebrado Halloween de una forma un poco especial, ya no por el hecho de que haya un nuevo virus, sino porque Among us está creciendo cada vez más como juego. Me ha gustado la idea que han tenido los profes, espero repetirlo más veces. Por otra parte mejoraría las paredes, sé que no es fácil pero con ayuda de todos lo podemos lograr, mejoraría las paredes ya que me las esperaba un poco más largas (hasta el suelo) y de punta a punta de la habitación. En general está muy bien, no me esperaba que lo pudiéramos pasar tan bien en tan poco rato. Agradezco a los profes de EF por hacer que lo hayamos pasado tan bien. Esto se debe a que era Halloween y María decidió realizar una actividad relacionada con este día especial. Desde hace ya algún tiempo, este juego es muy conocido entre muchos países, el juego del que se trata se llama: Amoung Us. En el juego puedes ser, o bien impostor, o tripulante. El impostor (puede haber de 1 a 3 impostores) debe matar a los demás jugadores sin ser descubierto, además cuenta con una serie de ventajas, una de ellas es que puede pasar por alcantarillas de un lugar a otro sin ser visto, y otra ventaja es la de poder sabotear las misiones, oxígeno…   Mientras tanto, los tripulantes deben realizar todas las misiones que se les otorga. Si todos ellos acaban las misiones sin ser asesinados, estos ganarán la partida. Si algún impostor te mata, podrás continuar realizando tus misiones aunque no estés “vivo”. Si te encuentras con un cadáver puedes reportarlo, entonces, todos os reuniréis para hablar y decidir quién o quiénes son los impostores. En esta reunión, cada persona debe votar a quién crea que es sospechoso, y si no tienes ni idea de quién puede ser, puedes votar en blanco (skip). La persona que más votos tenga será expulsada de la partida, ya sea impostor o tripulante. Si el impostor o impostores son descubiertos y eliminados, los tripulantes ganarán la partida. Pero si los impostores consiguen matar a todos los jugadores sin ser descubiertos, estos serán los que ganen la partida. Siguiendo estas normas, hemos realizado en clase una actividad similar a la anterior, en la que había 4 impostores que debían matar a los tripulantes. El resto, debían realizar las “misiones”. Estas, se encontraban en los dos gimnasios y había 10 en total. Consistían en: dar 10 saltos a la comba, hacer 10 sentadillas, realizar 10 jumping jacks… Y si eras impostor también las podías realizar para disimular. Cuando alguien veía un cadáver, tocaba una especie de silbato para que todos nos reuniéramos. Allí votábamos al sospechoso o sospechosos y hablábamos entre nosotros para decidir a quién íbamos a echar. La persona eliminada debía mostrar su identidad. Esta actividad ha sido una buena manera de realizar diferentes tipos de ejercicios de una forma entretenida que nos ha gustado mucho a todos. Me gustaría poder volver a jugar más veces ya que me lo he pasado muy bien en estas clases. The 9 students were divided in three groups and each one made a different film. They spent two weeks brainstorming the idea, recording and editing. But finally, the result was worth it and they obtained wonderful results. Then, the rest of students of 3rd ESO B interviewed the participants of each short asking these questions: Miguel pays for it - Where did the idea of the short film come from? *At the beginning we didn´t know what we were going to do but, then Miguel gave us the great idea. -In which places did you record? *All the scenes were recorded in different parts of the high school, for example the classroom 37 and upstairs in 4th grade. -How much time did you spend doing it? *We spent more or less two weeks planning, filming and editing the video The misterious man -Who is the mysterious man? *In the first scene, David was the misterious man, because Pablo couldn´t climb on the train and in the other scenes Pablo was the misterious man. -How the story ends and what happened with Ángela? *At the end, Ángela after suffering that many hallucinations, she dies on the hands of the misterious man, we didn´t record the scene of the misterious man killing Ángela because we wanted people to think about the end of the film. What about me? -Who had the idea of this film? *At first, we didn´t know what to do, but Violeta had the idea of introducing a twin sister to the story and Natalia helped with some details. -Was recording difficult? *Yes, we think that was difficult to film it, because it was raining and we didn´t have time enough -Did you have fun? *During the recording we were a little bit nervous because we didn´t have enough time and because it was very hard to film without laughing, but in general we enjoyed it. Al principio todos teníamos dudas e incertidumbre ya que este era el primer año que se realizaba y duraba mes y medio pero decidimos hacerlo para aprender un nuevo idioma y una nueva forma de vida. Las familias se trasladaron a Madrid a principios de Septiembre para despedirnos antes de embarcar hacia Lyon o hacia Ginebra, dependiendo la región que nos había tocado. Tras unas horas de retraso por fin embarcamos y conocimos en persona a nuestros compañeros franceses. En las primeras semanas nos adaptamos al idioma y a la cultura francesa y convivíamos también con otros alumnos españoles. En mi caso, viví en Sassenage, una pequeña ciudad al pie de varias montañas alpinas. Mi compañera francesa se llamaba Pauline y me ayudó a adaptarme a sus vidas (su familia también, por supuesto). Visité lugares inolvidables con Pauline como París o Lyon y realicé una gran caminata hasta la cima de las montañas cercanas. Las semanas pasaban y llegó el momento de la despedida a las familias francesas el 20 de Octubre pero no de los compañeros ya que venían con nosotros para pasar otro mes y medio en España. Para nuestros amigos franceses también la adaptación fue rápida y aumentamos nuestra amistad. Asimismo, visitamos ciudades cercanas como Salamanca o Valladolid y la frontera portuguesa y les enseñamos nuestra forma de vida y el español. Finalmente, a finales de Diciembre, tuvimos que despedir definitivamente a nuestros amigos franceses aunque mantenemos el contacto y prometimos volver a vernos en persona. They stayed at a hostel called "Valle de Baztán", in Lekaroz, Navarra, from the 11th to the 17th of October with 2 teachers from their high school. During their stay in Navarra, they attented lots of interesting lessons related to the environment and did lots of fun and interesting activities in English. Besides, they prepared a very interesting project focused on some of the most important environmental problems worldwide and on how we could solve them. We are the students of 1st Year of ESO of the Bilingual Programme of the British Council / MECD at IES Tierra de Ciudad Rodrigo. At the beginning of October, Kevin Whitley arrived at our school and he has been working with us, as our Language Assistant, this year. On his first day he was a bit nervous because he had never taught and he didn’t know if we would like him, but we have had a great time together. He has been almost nine months with us and we will be missing him a lot next year. He has helped us to learn a lot of vocabulary, we have improved our pronunciation thanks to him and he has also helped us to get to know about the differences between British and American English. Besides, Kevin has made some presentations about American culture and traditions so that we would learn about Halloween, Black Friday, Thanks Giving Day, Independence Day or the 4th of July…   Kevin has not only been with us in the English Literacy lessons, but also in the Natural Sciences and Social Sciences lessons and he has helped us to prepare some cross-curricular projects (e.g. A Cross-curricular project about different cities all over the world, another about Natural Disasters, another about Uranium Mining, and presentations about interesting people we had learned about in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences...)   In his last week at our high school, we have used the IPADs to make our first radio programme. We have interviewed Kevin because we wanted to learn more things about him and we wanted that everyone at the high school would know him better.
